AVETH Survival Guide

The vmitet (Association of the Mittelbau at the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering) is an autonomous association that represents the interests of the Mittelbau at the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (D-ITET) of ETH Zurich. The Mittelbau consists of doctoral students, post-docs, assistants, senior assistants, and scientific staff. vmitet is a member of the Academic Association of Scientific Staff at ETH Zurich (AVETH).

The VMITET HelpDesk is a strictly confidential mediation service for doctoral students and scientific staff. Offered on a peer-to-peer level by volunteers, who act as a first point of contact for early stage conflicts, it is a safe place to discuss a dispute and come about its resolution.
