New Director of Studies at D-ITET
As of 1 February 2024, Prof. Christian Franck will take over the position of Director of Studies from his predecessor Prof. Sebastian Kozerke. The new incumbent is looking forward to the role and explains: "As a lecturer, I ensure that I plan and deliver individual lectures successfully. In my role as Director of Studies, it is now my job to ensure an optimal learning environment and experience for students on both Bachelor's and Master's levels."
Christian Franck also sees it as a very important task to help shape the Examination System and Academic Calendar at ETH (PAKETH) project initiated by the Rector of ETH Zurich to reform teaching. PAKETH is intended to give teaching more room for development and students more freedom. Head of Department Prof Jürg Leuthold thanks the outgoing Director of Studies warmly for his commitment and wishes Christian Franck all the best in his new role.
