Dr. Krish Sankaran has won the Mission Innovation Champion Award
Dr. Krishnaswamy Sankaran, a Swiss citizen of Indian origin based in Finland and D-ITET doctoral graduate, has won the prestigious Mission Innovation Champion Award. He was earlier nominated by the Government of Finland for this Prize.
The Award was launched at the Paris Climate Conference in 2015. Mission Innovation (MI) is a global initiative of 24 countries and the European Commission, seeking to dramatically accelerate global clean energy innovation and make clean energy widely affordable and reliable. MI countries represent 60% of the world’s population, 70% of GDP, and 80% of government investment in clean energy research.
Krish Sankaran has completed his doctoral studies at D-ITET and is now the CEO of external pageRadical Innovations Group AB based in Vaasa, Finland. Additionally, he is currently also a visiting faculty at ETH Zurich.
