Dr. Richard Rau receives Best Presentation Award
Dr. Richard Rau of the Computer-assisted Applications in Medicine group received the Best Presentation Award at MICCAI (Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention) 2019 conference in Shenzhen, China, one of the largest technical conferences on medical image analysis.
This prize was awarded to Richard Rau based on selection by two committees from all papers (oral and poster presentations).
In the awarded paper external page"Attenuation Imaging with Pulse-Echo Ultrasound Based on an Acoustic Reflector", a novel ultrasound imaging method is proposed as a new biomarker with different potential applications, including the differential diagnosis of breast cancer.
