The spin-off of Paul-Scherrer-Institut (PSI) and the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at D-ITET aims at developing a new prototype of an improved mammography system during the next two years. The computed tomography (GI-BCT) system significantly improves patient comfort and detects breast cancer at an early stage.
