Livie Dorwling-Carter, PhD student at the Laboratory of Biosensors and Bioelectronics (Prof. Janos Voeroes), is awarded with the prize for her presentation at the AFM Biomed conference 2016 in Porto.

Prof. Manfred Morari, former Head of Department and Member of the Department Management as well as recipient of multiple awards, will soon retire from ETH. To celebrate his achievements and career together with colleagues and friends from all over the world, the symposium "Perspectives on Systems and Control" took place last week.

As of 2 May 2016, Mukul Agarwal has joined D-ITET as educational devoloper. In his function, he will be the contact person in the department for issues in the area of teaching.

The award, which is sponsored by the IEEE Power & Energy Society, was established to “recognize outstanding individuals based on their contributions to modern bulk power system dynamics and control.”
