BBC features 'Data-storage for eternity'
In its series "The Genius Behind", the BBC portrays a project by the researchers Robert Grass, lecturer in the group of Prof. Stark at D-CHAB, and Reinhard Heckel, former PhD student in the Communication Theory Group of Prof. Helmut Bölcskei.
The two researchers are featured in a short video showing how - in their search for ways to store data permanently - they have been inspired by fossils.
