D-ITET Master's Ceremony 2019: Congratulations to all graduates!
D-ITET's Master's Ceremony took place in the Audimax on 21 June 2019. Almost 120 graduates of the Master's programmes in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering and Energy Science and Technology attended the celebration together with family and friends.
The Week of Open Source Hardware 2019 (WOSH)
Organized by the Digital Circuits and Systems Group from June 11 to June 14, WOSH gave free and open source silicon enthusiasts the chance to gather and discuss throughout an entire week.

The paper entitled "A RISC-V Based Open Hardware Platform for Always-On Wearable Smart Sensing" by Manuel Eggimann, Michele Magno, Stefan Mach and Luca Benini from the Integrated Systems Lab has been selected as best paper at the IEEE International Workshop on Advances in Sensors and Interfaces (IWASI), held in Otranto, Puglia.

The paper "YodaNN: An Architecture for Ultralow Power Binary-Weight CNN Acceleration," published in IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems by Renzo Andri, Lukas Cavigelli, Davide Rossi and Luca Benini has won the 2019 Donald O. Pederson Best Paper Award.
Studienwoche 2019: High school students design multisensor smart watches
During the ETH Studienwoche from 3 to 7 June 2019, 30 highschool students from all over Switzerland developed their own multisensor smart watches. They were supported by researchers from the departments D-ITET and D-MAVT.
