Franz Gravenhorst, PhD student at D-ITET, nominated for the finals of Parmigiani Spirit Award
The World Rowing Federation (FISA) nominated Franz Gravenhorst, PhD student at the Electronics Laboratory, for the finals of the Parmigiani Spirit Award.
Franz Gravenhorst, PhD student at the Electronics Laboratory studying Signal Processing in Sensor Networks for Healthcare and Sports Applications, is nominated for the 2014 Parmigiani Spirit Award. The award honours students, who demonstrate the core values of the sport of rowing and through these values enable and inspire exceptional success in other people’s lives.
Gravenhorst first started rowing in 2001 and immediately influenced his team’s success. His focus, determination and teamwork have inspired teammates to exceptional performances at university and beyond.
