In the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking ETH Zurich ranks as No. 1 in mainland Europe and No. 13 worldwide. The list is topped by institutions from the United States and UK with the California Institute of Technology as No. 1, followed by Harvard University and Oxford University on second and third place.
