Prof. Jürg Leuthold receives Doron Prize

Prof. Jürg Leuthold, Head of the Institute of Electromagnetic Fields, receives the Doron Prize 2018. The Swiss Foundation for the Doron Prize annually recognizes and supports Swiss individual initiatives and charitable endeavors in the fields of social welfare, humanitarian, culture and science.

Jürg Leuthold receives this award as "he has played and continues to play a key part in the further development of the Internet infrastructure. His research made a decisive contribution to the development of new transmission concepts which have significantly accelerated data transmission over the Internet."
