Audimax full to capacity and happy faces at D-ITET Master Ceremony
On 7 July 2017 the Master Ceremony was celebrated at the packed Audimax. 117 graduates of the Master programmes MSc EEIT, MSc EST and MSc BME were present, a new record! The mood at Audimax was solemn and cheerful at the same time.
Prof. Jürg Leuthold, Director of studies, hosted the Master Ceremony. Guest speaker Reto Nauli, Head of Energy Systems Siemens Schweiz AG, who graduated from D-ITET in 1986, emphasized that, among other things, the unpredictability of technical developments made the profession of an engineer so exciting. Afterwards, Master speaker Yannick Meier took a look back at his studies and made the audience laugh many times with his dry humor. Thomas Schalch gave an interesting insight into the area of the "Internet of Things" presenting his Master's thesis "Transiently Powered and Wearable Device for Ultra-Low-Power Vision Sensing". The atmospheric setting of the ceremony was provided by the Gypsy band "musique en route".
