1980-1986 | Positions at ASEA, now ABB, in Ludvika, Sweden, where he worked with power system simulation, control and design, in particular with High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) applications |
1986-2000 | Professor in Electric Power Systems at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm. At KTH he was the head of the power systems group. Main research topics were power systems dynamics and stability, e.g. voltage stability and angular stability, and power electronics in power systems. |
