Information & Communication Mini-Symposium, 19-23 May 2008

As part of an effort to define new growth directions in the general area of Information and Communication, the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering of ETH Zurich is organizing a mini-symposium on the theme of computational optimization during the week of May 19-23, 2008. Several leading researchers whose work touches upon this subject from a variety of perspectives (information theory, communication networks, signal processing, vision and automatic control) have been invited to present their research and discuss their insights.
