The Department consists of:

• Research laboratories and independent professorships
• Regular members:
  • Professors assigned to the Department
  • other teaching staff
  • Research Assistants, Research Staff, and PhD candidates
  • administrative and technical staff of the research
    laboratories, professorships and departmental facilities
  • students enrolled in the Master and Postgraduate
    programmes of the Department
• Associated Members

The Department has several committees and institutions. Currently these are the IT Committee, the IT Support Group, the Microelectronic Design Zurich, the departmental library and the mechanical machine shop.
